Default I got internet, but no LW connection

ok heres the problem,

i've installed LW and it opens just fine. i have a very strong internet connection (obviously seeing as how i downloaded it) but for some reason LW claims that there is no internet connection and that it cant connect.

i've tried messing with the firewall settings on my system and all that and nothing seems to do anything.

Is there a brickwall in front of the world icon? That indicates your connection is blocked by a firewall. If your connected through a router/modem most have a nat firewall in them.

See this thread: Connection problems? Check here first!. The solution should be in there.

If you still have problems post back with your details: System details - help us to help you

If you still want the Pro version you'll have to buy it again. Pro is good for 6 months of free updates, during which you can d/l it as much as you want. After that you have to buy it again. That's why it's a good idea to make a copy of it on a disc incase for some reason you lose the program(virus, crash, hdd catches fire , ect).

If you don't want to pay again you can always d/l the Basic version, Which in my opinion is just as good as the Pro. Either way, make sure you get it from the official site: Lime Wire » Download LimeWire.

Good luck and let us know if you have any problems .
