 Do this test & see if it works http://www3.limewire.com:6346 Try changing to a higher port in the range of 49152 - 65535 (say 64049). You'll have to change LW's listening port (tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Apply to save a change), port numbers allowed through your software firewall & any port numbers forwarded through your router. HughesNet have been known to shape bandwidth for p2p users but AFAIK they don't actually block ports (though this may have changed!).  |
