 Mac OSX Connection Problem I'm new to LimeWire, so I hope this isn't something easy and stupid. Here goes: LimeWire will not connect. The GUI shows "Enabling Open Information Sharing(Disconnected/ no files available) at the top 1. Mac OSX 10.4.8 2. I have turned the Firewall under system preferences, Sharing OFF 3. 1.5 GB 4. 40+GB 5. Cable 6. modem=Toshiba pcx2600, also using airport express 7. Home 8. 3.3.5, Lime wire doesn't show java version, Safari is on 1.4.2 9. Roadrunner (Time Warner) 10. My test worked 11. No 12. 1st try w/ LW, have used edonkey w/ FW's, port mapping, etc. 13. Yes, I see a brick wall  |
