 Cleffer Seems that your sound card or PC speakers have developed a fault, check which item is faulty by using a pair of headphones, i.e. if the bzzt sound can be heard over your head phones then it is the sound card and if the sound can only be heard via your PC speakers then your speakers are at fault.
