I have tried everything to connect...i have went through even port, etc. I am currently in an apartment that uses Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller and I saw something that said Limewire could be blocked dues to the internet company. I called the company and they said that they do everything to cripple limewire however, it will work slowly. I asked how and they said you have to use the limit control in the control panel and that is all they would tell me. I have tried everything and it does not work. I have no clue what the right thing to click in the control panel since I have tried everything and nothing is working. Please tell me someone out there knows what to do.

A6. No idea

7. Where are you trying to connect from?

9. Who is your ISP provider?
A9. i have no idea even what that means

12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.
A12. new problem since moving here i have had it forever it just stopped working when i got this new internet company who discriminates against limewire!!

13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?
A13. Yes and i have tried everything!!!


Please tell me you know the limited control they are talking about!
