Ok! You can potentially get over 200 KB/s with that site so I was curious how you'd fair.

i've had over 200 with limewire in the past but i will definately have a look when my d/l finishes and let you know

just clicked onto that magnet site, what am i supposed to be downloading, is there a search feature so i can search for files or can i only downloadthe few files that i can see on the opening page?

You can find other files but this is simply a test. Choose any. You don't have to finish downlding it but give it a reasonable chance to pick up speed.

i let it d/l till 50% was complete it maxed at 100 KB/s and the least it was was 74KB/s is that what you would expect?

That's not too bad, though I might have expected it to be higher. Their site might be busy or ...

Being non-firewalled would help. If you're uploading to others it does in fact help all round. It helps in searches because you're already connected to others & their peers, & thus helps for downloads. I don't know what your connection setting is but try a T3 setting.

Also periodicall re-searching or using the advanced search options by right-clicking the search tab & choosing Find more results can help find more sources. The more sources the better. I also like to browse hosts as that can sometimes help connect to more hosts.
