 No connection on any P2P network! Please Help! I'm unable to connect to any newtwork! I can't even get into the program(s) LimeWire, 360 SharePro, Utorrent!?? I'm running Windows XP SP2, MaAcfee. I have checked every program I have (even wen tinto sub folders) and uninstalled any/all security programs (old/new) I not only configured all of the above w/McAfee's Firewall, I uninstalled McAfee all together and still no connection. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all of the above programs numerous x's!? Nada. I really don't see the point in configuring Windows Firewall when I have it "Turned Off" all together but I did put all of them on the "Exceptions" tab/list just in case. Still blocked! I've called my ISP several x's and they assure me they are not blocking any program (I did specifiy LImeWire to them)not any port. But it seems like every time I mention the "P" word they seem to go into a silent panic! Is there one caring soul out here willing to do an "intervention" to prevent me from committing myself to an IP Psych. facility because I CAN'T CONNECT!? please?  Oh...sorry, I have a Dell /DImension Desktop.No other computers are hooked up to me and I do NOT have a router. I have a single Speedstream 5100 modem. DSL. That's it! Pretty simple you'd think.
