I've been having the same problem; I have used Limewire for over a year; suddenly a firewall on Limewire and it won't connect. I also use Rogers.
I have tried all the above suggestions but it doesn't work. I 'm going to check with Rogers to see if it is an ISP problem. |

If it is Rogers, we may get an influx of people with the same issue. You both may find you're living in the same area. ISP's may add shapers or blocker techniques on particular users who are suddenly using a lot of bandwidth, or they may apply it in certain areas/regions of the ISP's domain, or it may be universal. Rogers have admitted publicly that they are anti-p2p due to its high bandwidth use. But I haven't seen many posters on this forum affected by their policies yet. They may only now be starting to put the foot down.
