Here's the user guide for your router
http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/documentation/ST780WL/R610/UserGuide/HTML/SIP/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?single=false&context=ug&topic=init

Just from having a quick look, it seems very similar to this one listed on the port forward site
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Thomson-Alcatel/SpeedTouch536/Limewire.htm

Have a look through & compare them...if things look the same, you could follow the instructions for the SpeedTouch536. Don't forget to set up a static IP address first. You'll find a link for that within the portforward instructions.

Did the static IP setup go ok? If the other computer's port forwarded, you'll have to have a different static IP than the other one has.

Did you make sure that your port forwarded within the router was the same as LW's listening port & the port in the 'manual port forward' field within LW's firewall config? All those port numbers have to be the same.

Is your listening port different to the listening port of the other computer? Don't use the same port number for both. Try using port 64049 & see what happens.

i cant set up static ip because i hav to pay for that privelige to my isp. I have set all the ports to the same number on port forwarding and still no luck, i've checked that im not using the same port number as the other guys on the router and still absolutely no luck.
Thanks alot for all ur help guys but it really looks like we're running out of ideas cos nothing is working, does anyone have any other suggestions other than the ones i have already tried. Thanks

You don't have to get your ISP to organise a static IP for you (AFAIK it's expensive to do that). You can set up a static IP on your computer that your router will recognise. All you need is some info about default gateway, DNS servers etc...have you tried the instructions here?
http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

I have a static IP set up for my port forwarding...my normal IP address still changes as it usually would. The static IP is just for port forwarding purposes. If you don't see DNS info, your ISP will be able to give you that. You don't have to say anything about static IPs etc, just ask for your DNS server info. Without a static IP port forwarding won't work for your router.
