Go to add/remove control panel & remove all versions of java including jre & jse. Then reinstall Java using only the 'Offline' installer: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems which I think is 2nd on the list. Of course do this whilst LW is closed. And in fact, do it whilst your browsers are closed also.

I tried that and keep getting the same error message: Internal error 2755.1624,C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Sun\Java\jre1.6.0_01\jre1.6.0_01.msi

Defragment your HDD, reboot & try again with no other programs open. Perhaps you could set up a dual account & install from there.

Well I tried that as well and I still can't get Java to install on my computer, how is that when it was there before I tried to update Limewire? A dual account where, sorry i'm new to all this. But you are a great help!

Lotr Hi.
I dont know if its related but there is another thread that claims they have a virus in there java download. Thread....pbar1000, (virus in java) in Connection Problems. Peace.
