 How did you try to uninstall LW? Did you use the Add/Remove Control panel? If yes, see Errors due to mistakenly uninstalling LW using Add/Remove control panel - what to try now. Read from here onward! Oh I missed your note at the bottom. Have a look at the above link anyway. (This is more of an installation problem rather than connection problem)   |

| Thank you I had a quick look, made as much of it as I could as I said I am awful when it comes to PCs. So really I should install again then uninstall following those instructions?  I did a search on my PC and there is a limewire there but it doesnt show up in the start menu then programme files choice. When I click on it when I access it through C/Programme files it tries to load but says there is already a version of limewire on the PC ....really confused.
