Help..(error report)

Hi I need some help with Limewire. I have uninstalled it but I keep getting this message (I hope this is the correct section)



I am not very PC minded but I have installed it again and I dont get the message but it makes my PC very slow and limewire opens up each time I close it down even though it is disconnected and not on "start automatically" so I just want rid but I each time I uninstall I get the above message all the time. Would be greatful for some advice on how to sort this problem. Thanks.

How did you try to uninstall LW? Did you use the Add/Remove Control panel? If yes, see Errors due to mistakenly uninstalling LW using Add/Remove control panel - what to try now. Read from here onward!

(This is more of an installation problem rather than connection problem)

Thank you I had a quick look, made as much of it as I could as I said I am awful when it comes to PCs. So really I should install again then uninstall following those instructions?

I did a search on my PC and there is a limewire there but it doesnt show up in the start menu then programme files choice. When I click on it when I access it through C/Programme files it tries to load but says there is already a version of limewire on the PC ....really confused.

Uninstall LW using the Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. Then try reinstalling, or use the unzipped version & simply create a shortcut from the actual program & send it to start menu items or on desktop.

I uninstalled the last version I downloaded but there is still a version there it shows up when I do a search but when I go into the start menu>programmes LW does not appear but it is on PC. When I tried to delete it on the C drive thing it says "access denied"....

When you did a search, where does it say it is located?

2. Did you use the start menu again to try to uninstall it?

3. I'd suggest you go to NorbiesWorld (click on link) & get your system cleaned up.

I have no idea where that came from I have never seen it until I did this search

I have tried several time to install Java and keep getting a message saying that the wizard was interrupted before Java could install completely. What am I doing wrong, it all started when I tried to update my Limewire to Limewire 4.12.11. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
