Are you able to by-pass your connection device & see if you get LW to connect without the brick wall. Some isp's give an option to connect via dial up. This will tell us if the problem is your connection device or not.

If your ferinds is working fine and they are using the same ISP. Then ask your friend how they have limewire set up.Then set yours up the same. Ask what port they are using etc.
