I am recently new to Limewire. It was working perfectly for like 2 weeks and now it is giving me error message:

"Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network"

This is very frustrating as I havent altered anything with my PC.

Limewire is great for tracking down one song at a time, I would appreciate anyones help on this or if someone could give me the name of an alternative program that works on the same basis as Limewire....

As with any p2p program, you can't downld anything unless you're properly connected. You need to wait until there's full green bars & no red ones showing at the bottom left corner.

Did you read the faq & manual in the Getting Started Section Sticky.

Yeah done the lot......

Even read all threads relating to this issue.

I deleted my limewire folder through doc and set and it seemed to work for like 5 min...

Now im back to the same problem....

Oh I wish I was an employee of LW.org & being paid by them. But your poor guesses are not very helpful. This forum is independent & caters for many gnutella programs, & is helped out by volunteers which includes myself.
