Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() Limewire looked like they had finally gotten it right. They added swarming and Ultrapeer support. The problem is that the way they are implementing ultrapeers is that it sucks. I'll try the program again sometime in the future. I'll stick with a hacked version of Xolox that does auto research and swarming. I get wonderfull results in Xolox and the longer I leave the search running the better the results are. In Limewire I'm lucky to get a tenth of what I would get in Xolox. Too bad they don't make Xolox anymore or I wouldn't even be looking. Right now it's still better than anything else out there. |
