 erieview417, What happens when you try to download files? Are you properly connected (ie are all your connection bars green)? Make sure LW's allowed thru the XP firewall, check the link below for instructions. Firewall setup Your router has a firewall. Enable UPnP within the router & then use the UPnP option within LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall config. See if the brick wall goes away. If not, try port forwarding. Here are the instructions for your router. Don't forget to set up a static IP address first! http://www.portforward.com/english/r...4/Limewire.htm Remember that LW's listening port, port in LW's 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the router all have to be the same number   |
