Thebiglad, we can't give up now, especially after you purchased Pro...

We will just have to troubleshoot our way through this....

Try changing your listening Port number to 64049....

Hi Thebiglad,

Just try deleting LW's preferences folder too...it's a good idea to do that after up_dating or upgrading LW. It might make no diff at all but it's worth a try

See point 3 below (also point 2, if you've used versions of LW older than 4.9.34 in the past). Make sure LW's properly closed before deleting the folder.
Fixes for LimeWire

Did you update your Java version? You could also try Java 1.6 & see if that makes any difference. Use the JRE offline installer & remove all your old Java versions before installing the new one.

Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewall you will see it there change the number and select apply...

If that doesn't work, try downloading the Pro Beta Version....

MrMuggles,
Just check this first...
Go to Tools > options > Searching > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply....

With the firewall try Port Forwarding, here are your instructions....

Check your files with Bitzi before you attempt a download...
How to use Bitzi
Talk talk are known to block p2p, but I think your pretty right because you can download mp3's fine.....Try Bitzi and see how you go....
