For those who can't connect

There's several ways you can find them. One is to do a search for limewire & then delete all traces of it. But the reference you were given can be more easily understood from the image below.

Hi guys.. me again.. ok... i HAD LW working at its wonderful best yesterday.. but today.. when ive tried it... its not connecting again.. keeps telling me im either not connected to internet or firewall blocked.. i know im connected.. so Lord of the Rings, i looked at the bug report like you recommended before.. and now im getting recieved incoming this session: false.. which i know means im blocking it somehow with firewall right? but nothing has been changed since yesterday with my settings.. and when i look in my firewall thingy... LW is still ticked as exceptions.. with the ports added as per yesterday when i had excellent cnnection.. is it worth doing that deleting preferences thingy again? or will that make no difference if its a firewall glitch? AND .. if i do that.. will i loose the list of songs ive got d'ling at the moment and in the library?... im sorry to keep bothering you.. but i really like LW.. and the support you give.. so am determined not to give up on it... thanks for any assistance you can give me.. i look forward to your slant on it.. When I tried what it said on page 1 I think I deleted the wrong thing.I have win.XP and the file said props or something so I deleted it but now all my files are GONE!!! help me. How can I get them back.There were almost a 100 of them!!!

never mind I fixed my problem but it still won't connect right.I will have a good connection for about 2 min. and then connecting and it really messes with me when i want to search for something.

I've worked on this connection problem a couple of times in the last couple of months. Right when I think I've got it fixed, I find I don't really. It's getting real time consuming. Time I don't have. I'm frustrated.

Supply many more specifics, such as details of probs, os version, comp specifics, java version, lw version, connection type, firewalls/routrs, etc. & I'm sure somebody will get back to you.

i am running win xp w/ dsl. tried the delete pref thing in documents and settings. tried the disabling of tip box and disabled the auto connect when launching lw. nothing has worked. slowly been going the last 2 weeks. please help...

I have been using LimeWire for over 2 years without problems, until recently. Now all I get is "Need More Resources". I am a power user and have tried everything posted in this forum with no resolution. Same PC, same Internet connection. Can anyone help?

It worked on one computer but not on another.

Limewire worked for me for about 3 days and now nothing is working to allow me to connect
