 Reinstall Java. Use the JRE offline installer here & remove your old version of Java before you install the new one. http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp Now reinstall LW & make sure to use the offline installer (not the recommended one). No need to uninstall your original LW, it'll do that automatically when the new version's installed  http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml See if that helps!  |

| Erk...I don't know  Download the latest LW Beta & see if the same thing happens. You can download the Beta version from the normal LW download page. After you install the Beta version, delete LW's preferences folder. Make sure LW's not running (check in task manager). See point 3 below. Fixes for LimeWire Did you download the original LW (that you installed first) from www.limewire.com ? |
