Please help, got my new high speed, but cant connect?

9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)?MCSNet
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Passed
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.No

I just got my Highspeed installed today and I downloaded and installed Limewire pro, but it stays on Starting Connection and wont move. It(limewire basic) did work on my other computer with dialup. Please help

Oh and this is a wirelesss radio setup, with an antenna on my roof. Also I found this liitle thing on the contract for the internet:

Why is my connection slow or intermittant when I am using p2p programs such as Limewire?
The firewall in your radio is capable of having a max of 2048 ports open at 1 time. File sharing programs set a very long timeout value on the ports that they open, which cause the firewall to reach its restriction or close to it. Solutions include disabling or limiting p2p. Another solution is a external router with no port restrictions. A quick way to get your connection up and running again if you suspect this is a problem is to reset the radio.

Well, look in your router book. It should have an IP there. Connect to the IP and look around. There might be an allow P2P option. Just an idea. Good luck.

I dont have a router, it just plugs into the computer. Anyone else have any ideas? I have been searching and trying everything on these forums and nothing has worked yet.

ok, soi last night I changed the listening port or what ever it is, to 2048 and it worked good for me. Now again it wont connect.

Try ticking the box that says Manual Port and enter 64049, also put that number into the listen box as well...then select apply...
If that doesn't work you may have to purchase a router and connect through that, we can always help you open a port if it has a Nat Firewall...
