will not come on screen to connect
 

i have limewire used it for a while i download the upgrade version from official limewire site. icon comes on screen but nothing happens i read your logs and downloaded it again checked firewalls etc. can some one help me pleaes

i have deleted limewontwork several times and reloaded it
i made sure i had java and made sure of firewalls i download it and loads then when i click on the icon on my desktop nothing happens Its May 1 2007 and this has been going on for 2 weeks

i click icon it does nothing i have downloaded it java it firewalls it to death nothing

Ok so we have tried the the Ultrapeers solution via pm...
So I think we might have a look into your modem/router, if you have a look underneath it will say it's a Bellsouth ???, I need a model number...;)

Also you didn't have to delete your McAfee, that fix is generally just for the Vista users..
So we might have to have a look at what current firewalls you are using at the moment...
Check to see if you still have McAfee and check to see if you have the windows firewall activated....
