Hi guys.. um in a bit of a problem. My college has banned P2P from our connections. Now thats really bad cuz i cant download stuff from any p2p software or play games online!!! please suggest me a way of bypassing it or somethin... P2P has NOT been disabled by the ISP but by our college geeks. Please help.. lifes hell without it... n um a hardcore gamer that too. I am using a proxy server.. operating system windows XP. Please help. CGI proxies wont help cuz i download stuff from sites like rapidshare.com and megaupload.com and it wont help cuz i cant play multiplayer games which have been banned. PLEASE HELP!!!

Try other proxies, but chances are they have places a program in place which detects all traffic that uses p2p/games. A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 - 3 which have links to alternative instructions.

I would also suggest that you make friends with one of those college geeks who might help out by opening up a port or two for you.

As a UK resident I am shocked to learn that your football players, which is more like rugby over here, are also geeks. I'm am also stunned.

I thought American football jocks and geeks were totally different animals and never the twain shall meet. Now to find out that they are one and the same, surely it is the end of the world.
