i do have another modem (the Same) so i could try that, although would it just affect limewire, it's been zapped before in a storm and it cut out all my internet, would it just cut out limewire

You wouldn't think so, you would think it would affect all internet connections..
I need to go back and have a look at your set up again, hang tight...

It's definatley got to be Tiscali that's doing this to you...I just had another poster with the same problems as you...

oh yes, is there a different program similar to limewire that i could try so if i cannot connect with that i know it's not limewire but tiscali

One guy reported success with Frostwire, just change port No's every day n
use manual portfawrd not UPnP n I hope u can stay off their radar. I would gladly eat my mat if we could put the finger UP tiscali LOL Good Luck. n keep us posted. Peace.
