Are you still using the 4.8 or have you kept the upgrade...
With Java did you uninstall the 6.1 before you downloaded and installed the 5.11 and if so what version are you running now...

Thanks for your reply. Sorry it took so long to get onto here.
Yes, I did uninstall Java before re-installing it. Currently I'm running "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11." I'm currently running LW 4.12.11. I hope this helps some.

Try deleting your preference folder...
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...ng-should.html Do you see a brickwall in front of the globe with the newer version 4.12.11. If so could you tell me the model number of your Linksys router as you may have a Nat Firewall that is blocking your connection...

OK here we go lol...
 These are your instructions to port forward Port Forwarding for the Linksys BEFSR41 Ver 3 Follow the instructions the best you can and make sure you do the static IP part it is very important... Let me know how you go...
