Default Another Connection Problem

I have done my best to go through most of the posts regarding connection related problems, but I seem to be missing something.

I have Limewire Pro 4.12.11. Java 1.6.0_01. Pc is WinXP Pro SP2.
When Limewire starts, all I get is "starting connection" with the firewall icon. I have disabled windows firewall and even uninstalled my anti-virus. Problem remained, so i reloaded my pc. Again, I don't have filrewall enabled, but still get the firewall icon in limewire. I have a wireless usb modem.
I have tried varied configs with the 6364 port. Currently I went back to the default config. My listening port is set to 22336. Router config is "Use UPnP (Recomended).
The port test works.

Please advise

I'm in South Africa. My ISP is Iburst. The modem/router was provided by them. Device Manager just specifies it as Iburst Terminal. I have phoned them and they claim not to block any ports over 4000.

Hope this info helps

I thought there may of been a Nat Firewall in your modem/router...
Have a look underneath it, it usually has the model number and name there..

Just checked device manager. the modem appears under network adapters. General name is Iburts Terminal. Manufacturer is Kyocera Corp. Unfortunately no manual for the modem was provided when the package was purchased.

What I want you to do is pick up your modem/router turn it upside down and tell me it's name and model number...
Don't go into Device Manager...
The reason I ask for this is if you are being blocked by a Nat Firewall and your modem /router is listed I can give you the instructions to Port Forward...

As i stated just now, the modem only has one sticker with the following details:

UTU1780D-ZA-A
Serial number: 0706WD1976
UTID: 001264385305090
And:
Made In JAPAN
All the ISP can tell me is that the modem is provided by Kyocera. They could not supply me with a model no.

I checked the port forwarding site and there was only one listed there for the Kyocera....follow the instructions and see if it's the same as the one you have...
Here are the instructions...
Port Forwarding for the Kyocera KR1002
