Default The exact same problem

I have the exact same problem, I have been using limewire pro since August 06 and all of a sudden, when you click on the desktop icon it comes up sits on screen for a few seconds then disappears and nothing happens. To make it worse, when I go online to get support Limewire tells me that none of my email addresses are recognised! I definitely bought this product so I would like to know why I'm not there!
System requirements, to the best of my ability are as follows:
1. OS version? Windows XP
2. What firewalls you have? Zonealarm
3. How much ram? 224MB
4. Hard Disk space available? 18.1GB
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) Cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Can't help on that one sorry
7. Where are you trying to connect from ? Home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? Can't get it to tell me anything, the shortcuts say 360 Share pro. Will find out java later
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? Australian company
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? "your test worked"
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.No
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. New problem
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? no
Help please!
Barb

barmat - this link may help explain why you're having trouble. How much did you pay for your limewire?

estartit - where did you download limewire from and how much did you pay?

Good Luck

Dano
