AVG blocking limewire?

Default AVG blocking limewire?
Hi there guys sorry if this is in the wrong place ive had a search around and connot find this specific problem

im on a windows computer trying to run limewire it doesnt connect at all, ive turned off my firewall and it doesnt connect and ive even tried turning off agv and it still does work. I dont think its a router problem because i can connect from my mac using frostwire on the same connection.

Any suggestions? Ive tried countless restarts and reinstall.
Ive got bearshare to work, but its crap and limewire and frostwire dont work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of AVG are you using? If you've got AVG Free then it shouldn't be a problem.

Yes!!! AVG v7.5 antivirus will block Limewire......
AVG Anti-Spyware will allow connection...

Uninstall AVG - Uninstall Limewire - Install Limewire - Install AVG. Worked for me.

Try disabling AVG's Email Attachment Scanner plug-in. See if that does the trick.

Default wow limewire unblocked
WOW turning AVG e-mail scanner off worked and now i have fast limewire again. Thats been a headache for me for the past 9 months !!!!!!
