Limewire connects with one user but not the other

So Ive had limewire for a long time and it has always worked perfectly fine. One day a few months ago it suddenly stopped connecting (only one bar in corner of screen) and I updated the firmware on my router and it fixed the problem. Now a few weeks ago I started having the same problem again and so I updated the firmware once again but still continued to have the same issue.
Ive tried many things including port forwarding and bypassing the router (connecting my computer directly to my modem) and I continued to have the same issue. Whats Odd though is that my computer has two different windows xp accounts or w/e you want to call them, one for myself, and one for the rest of my family which is hardly ever used, and I cannot connect on the limewire on under my own account but I CAN connect on the limewire under my family's account.
I am very puzzled by this and so next i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no luck.
WHAT SHOULD I DO? I NEED MY MUSIC....

2. Just have windows firewall enabled
3. 896 MB of RAM
4. 55 GB available hard disk space
5. Cable connection
6. Linksys WRT54G V.5 router, Toshiba PCX1100U Cable Modem
7. Connecting from home
8. LW: 4.12.14 Java: 1.5.0_08
9. ISP: Road Runner/Time warner
10. Its says "Your test worked!!!"
11. There is a second computer hooked to my router but that is it.
