Is your D-Link actually set up for UPnP or even have the capacity. My D-Link model doesn't support it. I had to port forward it instead.
Otherwise, go to Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls & change to port forward & choose a port number between 49152 - 65535. Else leave it at UPnP but change only the listening port so it doesn't affect your Netgear's UPnP communication. |

I don't know if it does or doesn't. But I was able to download up untill a few days ago using the same router. So I don't see how all the sudden it would change w/ out the router being reset or anything.

I understand that your ISP, Verizon, could be throttling P2P usage, give tham a call and find out but make sure you speak to someone technical. UK Bob |

No, cause my friends have Verizon as well and theirs still works. So I don't see how they would be blocking mine, and not theirs.
*Note* I went and downloaded Bearshare, and that didn't work either. So, I know that there is a setting that I need to change. So far I have: -Unistalled security updates -Got the newest version of Limewire -Rolled back my java (as one post recommended to do) -Manually allowed the port to be open So if you have anything else that you could think of let me know. |
