I am trying to find the answer to my connection problem on this forum already for several days now, but unfortunately I did succeed until now.
I guess I need some help here
My problem is that I can't seem to get a connection to LimeWire, the connection quality shows 1 green bar and doesn't go any further than that.

Here is my setup:

1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) >> Windows XP Prof. SP2
2. What firewalls you have? >> only standard XP firewall
3. How much ram? >> 2 GB
4. Hard Disk space available? partition C: 32 GB, partition D: 172 GB
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) DSL
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Ericcson HM121 dp DSL modem
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? house (my internet connection works fine)
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
LimeWire 4.12.11
Java 1.5.0_01
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Orange (the Netherlands)
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? 'Your test worked!'
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. NO
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. I used to have LW and it worked fine on my old system but with the same internet connection and OS
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? I am not sure how to answer this question but it is a simple USB DSL modem, I am not using a (wireless) router or something like that
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall
AVG Free Edition, no extra firewall

I have seen that the XP firewall has made an exception for LimeWire, have already tried the firewall configuration like descriped here:
Lime Wire » Trouble connecting? Firewall problems? but unfortunately no go...

Any help would be appreciated!
