Question New Wireless Router, cant connect??

Hi All I have just set up a new wireless router ( My 1st) and now my limewire says connecting and shows the first bar but wont actually connect, any suggestions?? I have seen some suggestions to enable ports?? but i am technically challenged and have no IDEA how to do this. Thanks in advance for any help. Kalyn

Could you give us the brand and model number? Or, you can go to PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall, click on port-forwarding, find your model, click on Limewire, and follow the instructions.

Hi, I went to the website you suggested and did everything it said and it still wont connect??? hummm told ya I was tech impared, my Brand and model is Linksys WRT54G V8. Is there anything else it could be? I havent changed anything else on my comp in months and it was working since then Thanks Kalyn
