Default No conection for uploads but internet is fine - After an HDD crash and reinstall

Hello,
I just reinstalled Limewire because my hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall alot of software. I have a Gateway PC with Windows XP Professional. No firewall in XP or Netgear router. I can access the internet fine for uploading programs but Limewire has no connection. Should I change my port # or could it be something else?

Thanks,
FD

6. Modem & router brand name & MODEL NUMBERS?
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

Glad to help.

With an older version of LW, you probably also need an older version of Java. There are older versions available for download at the Java website, if you're interested in trying them out. Or, you could update to the most recent LW Pro! The newest beta version is capable of handling torrents, also.

I'll try ther older version of Java, If I have no luck I'll revert to the newest LM version along with the newest version of Java.

Thanks for your help.
