Windows/XP Pro, Actiontek DSL Gateway (54 mbps) 256/256 upload/download speed.

The problem I'm having is I can download no problem. However, I can only upload if I leave Limewire completely alone. I can have numerous uploads going just fine, but as soon as I start searching/downloading, they "go away." Some will be, say, 17% progress, and as soon as I start using LW their status will either stay at 17% but will immediately say "complete," or they will say, "transfer interrupted." On a rare occasion, one will remain uploading and finish.

I was told my DSL modem has some kind of "built in" firewall, but not sure if that is the problem? I have XP Firewall enabled, but have added the IP and port settings per Limewire site instructions.

I'm super green at firewalls/ports, so I'm not sure what to try, or if they are even the problem.
