 You could try port forwarding your router...These are the instructions for the BEFVP41 Port Forwarding for the Linksys BEFVP41 You could also try a later version of Java... Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 Other than those tips it's really hard as the security you have may be the cause....
