 Limewire/Java problems I too am perplexed. I have Limewire 4.12.6 on this computer and on an older laptop, both with XP Pro on them and it works fine. I just installed it on another computer I only recently enabled an on line connection for with a wireless router, and it will not start. It keeps coming up with "need to install java...". So I do, but then it says that this version of Java is not compatible with Limewire, and i have tried downloading older versions, but it still will not start. I do not remember how to clear my registry of all prior Java installations. Can anybody tell me please? Thanks, Monika Florida US  |
