there's got to be!! I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'm no techincal boff and have learned the most about internet connections with in the last 24hrs than i thought possible but i'm still not getting it. My Limewire won't connect futher than 1 bar and there are no stats at all in my connection box... when i add a host it'll hold it for 5secs then drop it. I have no firewalls. i've enabled UPnP. I've done the whole proxy thingy... and i'm not sure what to do... please could i get some advise (bearing in mind I'm simple

For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? I have enabled the UPnP (to no avail) 15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? No security programs other than the inactive windows firewall 16. What country are you living in? So sorry that your post had been missed, it gets a little crazy around here sometimes...
Can you tell me if you go to Tools > Options > Bug Report > View Example scroll down to Received Incomming this Session, if it's true you are not blocked by a firewall, but if it is false you are being blocked.... If you recieved False try updating your drivers for your NETGEAR WG311v2 http://kbserver.netgear.com/products...ic/WG311v2.asp Also is that card the only way you connect to the internet or do you have a little black box that hooks you up ?? If yes what is the make and model of that...
