That's such an old version...Save the installer and try downloading the latest version and see if you have any trouble with that...

Java 5 up 11 - still wont help fix my problem
i installed java 5 update 11 but again limewire wont connect... then i installed frostwire and again with no results.... everytime i load and close limewire or frostwire a process will keep running and wont be able to be stopped from the task manager, so if open and close limewire or frostwire 5 times i will have 5 processes running.... what is the problem? why didnt i have the problem with the beta version of 4.13? why wont it even connect? plz help thanks

Not good...Uninstall limewire completely using the limewire uninstaller which is found Start > All Programs > Limewire/uninstaller...
I will send you a pm shortly with a link to the Beta 4.13.13...
