Can't Download Songs
When I try to download a song, it just appears grey with a dotted line around the outside, the same with the download box. Could this be that I might of pressed no and the copyright message when I tried to download a song, or something different? I tried using that Creative Commons option, and It did download a song, but only if it had the CC logo next to it. If you could please help me and try and get this sorted so I can get my songs back!

Check and see if you have the lisence warning ticked...
Go to Tools > options > Searcing > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

Good morning from Australia Have just downloaded LimeWire and cant down load anything because the songs im wanting (mostly country ) dont have a "gold Padlock " beside them What the heck am i doing wrong ??? I didnt purchase the proffesional one which with the trouble im having rather pleased i didnt .. HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi from one Aussie from another...
 That padlock notice you see at the top of your searches is to notify you of a particular search result that contains a virus... It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LW update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent careless people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface. The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music or video etc, only to LW updates...
