If you just upgraded to Pro how did you end up with the 4.8.1 version ?? |
So,...you have updated from Basic to Pro.....when was this..? Cause the 4.8.1 version is a stone age version and you've definitely not updated that version recently. Go to START>Search for Files and Folders and look for a folder called " .limwire " (yep, that dot in front of the word must be there) and include the hidden folders into the search. When you find it (while LW is completely closed, i.e. also in the system tray) delete it. Then start LW again and see if it has any effect. If it hasn't got any, I reckon uninstalling this old LW version via START>Programs>LimeWire>Uninstall and downloading the newest free basic version from here (updating your Java prior to that new installation would also be advisable using the JRE offline installer after you have uninstalled all other Java installation on your system): Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « Cheers FOTH :Smilywais: |
