Connection problem! (stuck at Loading Digital Audio Access Protocol)
So I used LimeWire a few days ago and it was fine; I downloaded songs and everything and had no problems. I just went to use it today and it starts up, but after it says "Locating Peers" it goes to "Loading Digital Audio Access Protocol" (this is the bar at the bottom, to the left of the play/stop thingy) and then the entire program freezes. I've been able to search for a song before it's gotten to this part but as soon as it's finished locating peers (which takes about 2 seconds) it freezes! why is this?? Thanks!

I'm having the same exact problem. I thought it was just me. If anyone has any answers, that would be great.

Apparently this is a bug in some versions. Download the latest version (4.14.8) & hopefully that will solve the problem
 When you download LW, remember to use the offline installer. When you click to download & the download box pops up, cancel it. Now you'll see the option to download the offline installer. Lime Wire » Download LimeWire

Well unfortunately, I still can't get Limewire to work. Also when my download box comes up and I cancel it, it goes away. There is no other way to download the offline installer.
