What ISP do you use. I bet it's your ISP filtering / blocking limewire from accessing the network.
I just recently moved back to college and use Insight and they seem to be blocking mine too as well as a bunch of peoples. |

In LW file > disconnect. Wait 5 minutes, then file > connect. Click on the Connections tab in LW...right click on the hosts attemting to conect > remove. Let LW look for some different hosts. You could try changing ports. In LW tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049 (or something in the range of 49152 - 65535) > Apply > ok. If you have port forwarding in place, you'll also need to change the port number in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within your router. |
