Help!! (Connecting to the network)
Hello,
I First downloaded the most recent version of limewire but it would never connect it says " please wait while your agent is connecting to the network" so I deleted it from my pc and downloaded the 4.10.0 version...still nothing. I have: windows xp cable connection type connecting from house i see a brick wall in front of a blue world icon AVG Anti virus with Limewire as exception Canada How can I get this thing working? thanks Last edited by izzy613; August 25th, 2007 at 10:46 AM.

Where did you get a 4.10.0 version ??
Uninstall it via Start > All Programs >Limewire/Uninstaller... Then re-install the latest version... Then could you supply these details please... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-you-post.html

I got that version on Old Version Downloads - OldApps.com and I finally found out what my problem was... I had to shut off my anti-virus, install LW, then restart the anti-virus. It worked. It was the anti-virus itself that wouldn't let me run it... not the firewall.
