help with firewalls pls
 hello all! new to limewire..glad to be here heh..will upgrade to pro one day when i can afford it but for now i use basic. the free stuff. well..i am having a prob heh. i am using aol 9 with Windows ME i think (or is it 2000) and i cant search or download cuz it says at the bottom it has detected a firewall. there is already a symantec antivirus thing installed on this laptop..an IBM thinkpad..and i am rather confused as to what to do. i cannot find a way to remove whatever firewall is there..and if i do remove it, will it damage my puter? please help me someone. feel free to respond here, or more preferably, email at [edit] thank you all. have a good summer..stay cool  ________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules.
