Default Limewire runs but does not connect

Hello,
I am the admin of an ISP. User is running Motorola Canopy wireless radio for internet. Here are the rest of the details:

1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) XP Home SP2
2. What firewalls you have? Windows, Avast
3. How much ram? 512MB
4. Hard Disk space available? 60GB
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) Wireless broadbad
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Canopy subscriber module
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. 4.14.7, Java 1.6.0_02
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Me
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Test worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. Experienced user
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Yes.

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled?
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland). USA

Some more details:

I can boot in safe mode using the admin account and Limewire runs fine. Switching to the user acct in safe mode, does not connect (it says connecting but never does).

Normal mode does not work. It does the same thing. I have tried disabling Avast and Windows firewall, reinstalling Limewire, deleting the Limewire prefs folder.

As I stated, I am the ISP. I can go to my office and run Limewire just fine, using same hardware setup (but not the customers PC). I do not have Limewire blocked in any way.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to start your own post, not expect an answer to your post when it is in mine - nobody will see it unless they view my post.

ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire

ok so there is a list of ISPs known to block/filter Limewire. If you use one of these this is probably the problem. Now with all of these people having this same connectivity issue recently, I bet it is just the ISPs cracking down on us.

Once again - START YOUR OWN POST!!

There is absolutely no reason whatsover for you to tell others to initiate their "own posts".
If others are experiencing a problem similar to your own, than it makes a great deal of sense for them to join in the thread with their posts.

Relax.

I would also strongly suggest to you to read the many, many, many other threads and posts on this same subject/problem.
There is a very high probability that the answer to your problem(s) is already provided in 100's of other posts here.

p.s. I chose this colour to match your 'rage' !

You are really and truly your own ISP ?

Considering the various things that you need to successfully launch LimeWire and... AND connect... it is hardly surprising that 'Safe-Mode' is not viable.
