![]() Make sure that the XP firewall's off & that the Trend Micro firewall's configured to allow LW (click below). PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall Update your Java to this version. Download the offline installer & remove any other Java versions before you install this one. Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 If the page can't be displayed, it's not a good sign...something may be blocking LW's default port - possibly your ISP. Do you know anyone who uses the same ISP & can use p2p without a problem? Try changing ports. In LW tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049 (or try others in the range of 49152-65535) > Apply > ok. There's a firewall within your modem, try port forwarding. The instructions are here. Port Forwarding for the Motorola SBG 900 Don't forget to set up a static IP address first (there's info about that in those instructions). LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the modem should all be the same number. |

![]() I can't get more than one green bar either. I have emailed support several times and I just get an email from Zenzele saying I did not provider enough information, even though I explained in detail the issue of only having one green bar. I think regardless of how much information one provides it will not be enough. I also have followed the instructions regarding redownloading java, deleting old versions of Limewire, etc... I love the refund policy which is we don't give refunds... The consensus I am getting is that there are hundreds of thousands of people that can't access Limewire because they only have one green bar. Yet most have probably paid for the Limewire Pro. $24.95 times several hundred thousand people equals several million dollars for the owners... I have contacted my credit card company to get my money back. Sincerely. A former Limewire Fan. |

![]() Hi podo, In LW file > disconnect. Wait 5 minutes, then file > connect. Try uninstalling LW (start > all progs > LimeWire & use the uninstall option). Once it's uninstalled, use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. Delete what you find. Restart your computer, do the search for limewire files & folders & delete anything that you find. Now reinstall LW. I'll send you a link to download an older version of LW, just in case an older version might connect...you never know! Can you try using another p2p app/apps & see if you can connect using a different app? Try FrostWire (much the same as LW) FrostWire.com » Official Website & Free Download « BearShare (the version Aaron mentions in this thread) BearShare has been sabotaged. or Phex Get Phex - PhexWiki The fact remains that your port 6346 test didn't work & that often points to problems with an ISP (regardless of what they say).
