Make sure that the XP firewall's allowing LW (info in the link below).
User Cant Connect - LimeWire

If that makes no difference, try port forwarding for your router. The instructions are here
Port Forwarding for the Actiontec MI-424-WR
Don't forget to set up a static IP address first, or port forwarding won't work. There's a link to static IP setup in those instructions. LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the router should all be the same number.

Is that Java 1.3.2? That's pretty old...any reason you're using that particular version? You could try using this later version. Download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before you install this one.

Did you get the static IP address set up without a problem? Did you make sure that you had the same port number in both boxes on LW's firewall config page & also within the router's config pages?

When you were getting no search results, was your LW fully connected to the network?

I can't find any info about whether your router supports UPnP (even in the manual)...did you have UPnP enabled within the router before you port forwarded?? If you did, did you have UPnP Framework ticked within Windows firewall > exceptions? Did you also have UPnP enabled within your router & 'use UPnP' checked on LW's firewall config page?

Yes the Static Ip wasn't a problem , I had the same number - 56000 in both pages

Yes LW was truly connected to the network when i got no search results

Upnp was there , I had Upnp ticked on with Windows Firewall , but I turned off Windows Firewall

How to check if my router has Upnp
