![]() I've been a Limewire user with no problems for quite a while. It still works at home with Knology as an ISP. At my vacation home in FL and Mediacom as a provider Limewire has failed to connect for several months. Today is the first day I've had time to work on the problem. Mediacom says it's nothing they're doing. I have: WinXP AVG (disabled and rebooted) A bunch of RAM, don't know for sure 10.3 G free space Cable Modem is Surfboard SB5100 LimeWire 4.14 (new download today) Mediacom ISP The test worked. Not sharing anything with anybody Had the program a couple of years, it still works at home Prior to downloading the newest version when I opened the program it stuck on one green bar, DID have a brick wall in front of the globe, and gave me a message about being unable to connect. I uninstalled that program and downloaded 4.14 and now it just sits there, no globe, no wall, no message. Too many people are saying LimeWire used to work and just quit. What's going on? I appreciate any suggestions. ![]() |
