I have been having a similar problem with connection as has been described by a lot of people in this forum - namely, my LW was stuck at 'connecting' and never actually connected. After about 6 hours of trying various suggestions I went to the limewire options and just clicked on 'restore defaults' - such a simple solution but it worked, now i'm back to the much sought-after turbo-charged connection .

Anyhow, just something to try if nothing else seems to be working.

I've had Limewire Pro for years. Once I bit on their 'offer' of an upgrade, only to find it was a trick. So I have paid TWICE for Pro and now it won't connect. Does anyone know of a better alternative that WORKS with Mac OS 10.4.9 (Tiger) ??
