I will try and find some info on your modem a little later today...You see alot of modem/routers have Nat Firewalls built into them and need to be Port Forwarded to allow certain programs...
Does your ISP support the modem you are using, can they help you log into it and open up the TCP and UDP ports to allow limewire through ??

Also in the meantime try installing frostwire and phex and see how you get on with them...

You have to log into the modem and without the login number, username and password you can't do that, hence me trying to find some sort of port forwarding advice on it...
There is a site that has all this type of info on it and unfortunatley your modem isn't listed... PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall
