 No dice with connecting!! Thanks for the help but that did not work either. As I stated in my original posting, there is no reason this should not be working in my environment when I disconnected my router and went straight form the cable modem to my computer with just Windows XP frshly formatted (all updates), java installed and Limewire. No Norton, Windows Firewall, etc. This does however work on my laptop when i plug it into my cable modem directly. On that note, since the computers have the same software installed, I can only conclude that the Mac address or computer name must be blocked somehow by Limewire. Thanks anyways.  |
